6-foot-1, 180-pound left-hander out of the the Franklin Legion program. Fastball touched 79 mph out of a ¾ slot. The fastball is hidden well and looks harder than it actually is. The spin pitch touched 68 mph and has the correct shape to it. The changeup is the separator for me, very good action on it. The delivery is online and repeated, reminds me of a reliever type at the next level. Is much improved since we saw him last summer, so he's trending appropriately. Tends to jump towards the plate during the delivery and has a minor pause on the backside of the arm swing. I like the deception to this guy, definitely a follow if you like different looks on your staff.

On the mound, pitches out of a ¾ slot with good run and sink to the pitches. The fastball sat at 75-77 mph. The spin pitch is big, 66 mph, as he slows the ball hand down to try and make the ball break. The changeup showed good action and leverage to it, sitting at 69 mph. The delivery is clean and he repeats it, pitches out of a low-¾ slot. The lift is athletic and on time, the glove side is inside his frame, as he does a great deal well. Threw strikes, moved it around and competed. Positionally, threw 70 mph across the diamond from first base. Was tentative with the glove around the bag, but handled action his way appropriately. Ran a 5.3 down the line on a dig to first base. At the plate, tee exit velocity of 73 mph, the frame needs strength. Sets up wide with his feet, the path is long and he cuts himself off after contact.
