5-foot-10, 187 pound athletic frame, hands, wrists and legs are strong, shows to have room to fill out. A right-handed hitting catcher, the stance is balanced and even. The hands are set just above the shoulders, back elbow elevated a tick. The hands are loose, free and really work through the zone, gets extension through the baseball and finishes with two hands. The tee exit velocity was 91 mph, ball explodes off his bat. Defensively, he recorded pop times of 1.96, 2.00, 2.03, 2.19. Clocked at 75 mph, arm path is short, fires right from his ear. The footwork is crisp, could close up a bit more, shows to be relaxed and effortless with transfer and throwing. Ran a 4.25 from home to first.

At 5-foot-10, 175 pounds his frame is athletic and strong, he has room to get even stronger. Behind the dish the setup is good, he is relaxed and feet are wide with a good base, but he is on the flats of his feet. The hands are strong, he gets underneath pitches well, sticks the pitch and showed the hands to be soft on some picks. Transfer is quick, he gets the ball into throwing position quick. The front foot could get closed up a bit more. Times to second were 1.99-2.03, throws close to the bag. The arm strength registered 69, arm has more in there. At the plate, he hits from a slightly open and balanced stance, with a high back elbow. The path is flat across the chest, has a one handed finish. The tee exit velocity was 87. The future is bright for this young man, can catch a little and the offensive game looks advanced.
