5-foot-8, 175-pound, average athletic frame, hands and wrists have strength to them, shows to have strength throughout, shoulders are broad and thick. A right-handed hitting middle infielder, hands are super soft, fields out front and works low to the ground. The transfer is clean and gains ground with footwork towards target. The arm is short and clean on the backside, works out of a natural ¾ slot, clocked at 79 mph, comes out of his hand with ease with good carry and life to it. The backhand play was made with ease, comes through the baseball, and attacked the slow roller, keeping his feet moving, good flow to all movements. At the plate, stance is even, at shoulder width. The hands are loose, with some pre pitch movement to them, bat starts in a tilted position. For timing uses a small controlled let kick, gains ground with lead leg, hands have separation from the frame. The swing is level across his chest, hands stay inside the ball, looks to drive in from field to field, spraying more line drives. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 80 mph, with more in there as he adds strength. Projects for me as more of a third baseman.
