10/11/15 - The 5 foot 6, 150-pound prospect posted a 7.37 60 time and had a 70 mph position velocity across the infield. Defensively Helton has short arm action, makes accurate throws with average arm strength, soft to average hands, quick footwork, clean exchange, plays through the ball and has natural instincts. Offensively Helton shows some bat speed through the zone and had a 78 mph exit velocity off the tee. Helton hits from a balanced setup with a leg kick involved, uses his lower half, has good balance, has an aggressive approach, level path, fluid rhythm, and is a line drive type hitter. Helton gets the most out of his small stature and is a very scrappy player. He went 2 for 4 at the plate with a double and a single during game play.

11/1/14 - 5-foot-6, 140 pound small body type who should fill out in the future. Hits from a balanced stance, uses hands well to produce a level swing with an opposite field approach, went the other way consistently during round of batting practice, was 0-for-3 in game play, ran a 4.44 home to first time. Uses short arm action with high 3/4 arm slot, needs to improve arm strength that was 70 mph across the field but showed consistent accuracy, plays through the ball well and shows quick defensive instincts.
