5/24/15 - The 6 foot, 180-pound prospect posted a 7.07 60 time and had a position velocity of 76 mph. Defensively Seymour showed good athletic ability and has natural instincts in the outfield. Has average arm strength and hands with inconsistent accuracy on throws. Offensively Seymour has average bat speed with an 81 mph exit velocity off the tee from the right side. Hits from a balanced setup with average balance, showed an opposite field approach in his round of batting practice. As a pitcher, has a strong, athletically built frame. Throwing from a ¾ arm slot, Seymour’s fastball was clocked at 74-75mph, topping out at 76mph with occasional run. Curveball was more of a sweeping action at a 10/4 trajectory sitting at 66-68 mph. His cutter showed gradual movement sitting at 67mph. Changeup was clocked at 70-72mph with occasional gradual fading action.
