1/17/15 - The 5 foot 10, 138-pound prospect had an 81 mph exit velocity off the tee, ran a 4.75 home to first base time, hits from a balanced setup, minimal stride, fair balance, average bat speed, line drive type hitter, has a tendency to drop his hands, needs more extension on his swing. Position velocity was 72 mph across the infield, showed average hands, flat footwork, needs to catch the ball out front more, showed average athleticism.  On the mound, uses a big rocker step with an up tempo delivery, lands open at times especially on secondary pitches,  high- ¾ arm slot, fastball sat 75-76 mph and is straight, 63-66 mph curveball shows 11/5 action, changeup showed no velocity difference off fastball and he tended to bury it, best secondary pitch was his curveball with late action, has some effort in delivery, has some room to continue working on improving mechanics and command.
