In his 4+ innings of work Vaughn tallied six strikeouts. His fastball was 78-81 mph, while his breaking ball sat consistently at 67 mph. Vaughn had excellent first pitch strike efficiency, and was able to repeat his delivery and release point, with both his fastball and curveball coming from the same slot, with the same arm speed, keeping Reagan’s offense off balance.
