A left-handed hitter, Adams has a balanced setup with a big, athletic leg kick that he uses to generate good leverage and hard contact. Lands with a longer stride as his lower half explodes through contact. Quick hands work well through the zone with a short, clean, linear path that gives him a lot of room for error. In the outfield, Adams plays through the ball with smooth footwork, soft hands, and clean transfer into a high-3/4 arm slot with accuracy at 77 mph.
