6/17/14 - 6-foot, 175-pound LHP/OF impressed more on the mound with 76-79 mph fastball from high ¾ arm action.  Overhead windup with short leg lift and easy effort landing slightly closed.  61-63 mph curveball showed gradual 2/8 break, and 64-65 mph slider showed similar action.  69-71 mph changeup was thrown near fastball arm speed.  Hits from a balanced setup with very little stride or load producing short level swing with inside-out tendencies and 82 mph exit velocity.  Threw 78 mph from the outfield and ran a 7.04 60 yard dash.

7.17.13 - 6-foot, 170-pound left-handed hitting and throwing two-way player ran a 7.0 60 at the event. Hits from an open stance with a short stride – recorded a 79 mph exit velocity maintaining balance throughout his swing. Throws from the outfield were 76 mph. On the mound, Saper’s fastball sat 74-76 mph. His sweeping 11/5 curve showed early break at 64-66 mph. His changeup ranged 67-72 mph with slight cutting action. 

2/18/13 - 5-foot-11, 170-pound left handed two way player. From the outfield shows athletic feet, uses crow hop, arm works from a ¾ arm slot, 77 mph from the outfield. At the plate hits from an open stance, uses short stride, 71 mph exit velocity from the tee. On the mound uses full windup delivery, shows some deception, tall and fall delivery, high ¾ arm slot. Fastball has slight run, 77-78 mph touching 79 mph. Multiple breaking balls. Curveball has 11/5 tilt, some sweeping action, gradual bend, 61-64 mph. Slider shows identical action, lacks separation from curveball, 66 mph. Change up is down, 68-70 mph.
6/13/12 Saper is a 5-foot-11, 160-pound two way player who impressed with his left-handed swing. Saper showed good fluidity in his swing, getting whip through the zone as he barreled up the baseball. On the mound, Saper showed some feel throwing from a high 3/4 delivery with a fastball that topped out at 75 mph. His secondary pitches include a 61-63 mph breaking ball and a 66-67 mph changeup.
1/22/12 Saper is a 5-foot-11, 170-pound left-handed pitcher who threw three pitches.  He had a 71-72 mph fastball, a 58-62 mph curveball, and a 64-65 mph changeup.
