2.15.15 - Solid build with strength, 6-foot-1, 200-pound outfielder, squared strong body. Right-handed hitter, open stance, short stride. Upper cut swing path, longer path with some pop, worked both gaps, 82 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively in the outfield used two hands with hesitation to play through the baseball, has adequate foot speed, 7.30 runner in the 60. Rigid arm action from high ¾ slot, plays uphill some, 80 mph arm strength from the outfield.
7/23/13 - Vallette is a 6-foot-1, 175-pound two-way player. Tall-and-fall delivery on the mound with some rhythm and longer, high ¾ arm action. Had control of his fastball at 77-79 mph with some sink. His 11/5 curveball has depth ranging 64-69 mph. Defensively Vallette showed a quick release at 80 mph from the outfield with accuracy. Sets up in a balanced stance at the plate with a minimal stride maintaining balance throughout the swing – recorded a 77 mph exit velocity.
3/11/12 Looks like Harrisburg HS will have another standout prospect coming up through the ranks. Vallette is a 5-foot-11, 155-pound two-way player who impressed throughout the event, showing well in all facets of the game.  Defensively, Vallette has good range and fundamental footwork.  He showed some smoothness in his actions and was accurate with his throws.  Offensively, Vallette has a slightly open setup with a smooth load.  He demonstrated a fundamental approach, one that didn’t have any excess movement. He takes an economical approach to the baseball and maintains good balance throughout.  Vallette creates good whip through the zone and showcased some power potential.  On the mound, Vallette threw four pitches, and really impressed with his secondary stuff.  He threw a 73-75 mph fastball, a 64-67 mph curveball with a sharp 11/5 shape, a 67-69 mph changeup, and a 66 mph slider.  His curveball and slider have the potential to be big-time swing-and-miss pitches. Additionally, Vallette ran a 7.71 60.
