Works from 3/4 slot, athletic arm, effort in delivery, has tendency to fall off to first base side. Fastball has arm-side life, sitting sat 83-84 mph, touching 86. Both changeup and slider can be swing-and-miss pitches. Against Glenbard South, changeup (75-76 mph) was especially effective, showing consistent arm-side sink in lower half of zone. Throws changeup with conviction and out of same window. Slider, in the 69-72 range, showed sharp two-plane action. High-potential pitch with more command. Not afraid to throw slider and changeup in different counts. Has established himself as frontline ace this season. Entered game with 6-0 record. After allowing two hits in first inning, he settled down. In second inning, he struck out the side in order on fastball, changeup and slider.
