6.13.13 - Solidly built 5-foot-10, 180-pound third baseman. Shows natural third base defensive actions. Possesses strong, athletic arm (85 mph across infield); ball stays online with carry. Moves well laterally, hands and feet work fluidly together. Offensively, hits from an open setup and showed some gap-to-gap pop. Recorded 87 mph exit velocity and ran a 7.29 60. Overall, one of the better defensive third basemen we’ve seen in the 2014 class.

2/17/13 - Athletic body, 5-foot-10, 175-pound third baseman. Arm plays well across the diamond, shows carry, 82 mph across the diamond. Hands work well, shows the ability to play third base at a consistent level, moves well laterally, hands are reliable. Runs 7.28 in the 60. Offensively hits from a narrow stance, dives over the baseball. Shows barrel awareness, creates extension, hits off front foot some, long high finish. 83 mph exit velocity from the tee.

7.25.12 Serna is a 5-foot-10, 155-pound multi-positional player who showcased the top infield arm at the event.  From third base he topped at 84 mph and was 79 mph from shortstop.  Serna displayed solid feet and a good feel for both positions, moving well laterally and taking concise routes to the baseball.  At the plate, Serna showed bat speed and a level path through the zone. Additionally, Serna ran a 7.19 60.
