5.3.14 Unranked sophomore righty/righty first basemen.  Physically impressive 6-foot-4, 195-pound frame.  Hits from an open stance, stays balanced in getting back to square.  1-for-3 on the day with a walk and a bloop single.  Nice target over at first, showed arm strength and accuracy in pre-game, with good feet turning the double play in throws to second.  Made an error on a bang-bang play at first by stretching early, but nice athleticism around the bag on several other plays throughout the game.

3/11/12 Norton is a 6-foot-2, 175-pound two-way player who impressed on the mound with his 75-77 mph fastball that flashed sink.  Norton showed feel for all three of pitches.  His off-speed pitches include a 63-65 mph curveball, and a 68-71 mph changeup.  At the plate, Norton has an open setup and showed some pop in his swing.  Additionally, Norton ran a 7.59 60. Norton will attend St. Ignatius HS next year.
