8/9/13 - 5-foot-7, 175-pound outfielder/infielder.  Defensively, he throws from a ¾ arm slot, with standard actions, at 80 mph.  At the plate he has a balanced swing that does not use any stride.  He has a line drive type of swing with a slight uphill path, and average bat speed with an exit velocity of 77 mph off the tee.  In game action he collected a couple of hits, one of which was a double.  He ran a 7.59 60.

10/21/12 - Barajas is a 5-foot-7, 160-pound two-way player. On the mound Barajas operates from a high ¾ arm slot throwing a 78-79 mph fastball. His curveball sat at 73 mph working on an 11/5 plane thrown with fastball arm speed. He also threw a change up at 71-74 mph. Offensively, Barajas hits out of a slightly open stance using a short stride and finding the barrel with regularity.

1/22/12 Barajas is a 5-foot-7, 150-pound multi-positional player who showed well defensively and on the mound.  Barajas showed some rhythm on the mound, exhibiting good backside drive and a fastball that topped out at 78 mph.  In the field, Barajas moves well, showing solid actions and displaying an accurate arm (77 mph). Barajas also ran a 7.36 60.
