10/19/13: A 5-foot-11, 195 pound catcher was a 2.07-2.09 with his pop times at the event. At last summer’s Top Prospect Games Ruble was quicker with his pop times, 1.90-2.05. 72 mph behind the plate. Defensively he shows quick feet with a good exchange. Needs to work on elongating his throws. Shows good upside. Offensively, starts open then closes with a small step. Works uphill with good projectable power. Bat speed is quick (80 mph exit velo).
