12/14/14 - 6-foot-2, 200-pound prospect, right-handed hitter starts in balanced stance, uses a toe tap with short stride, explodes with lower half, loose hands show some quickness, showed jump in bat speed from previous event, took one of the most impressive rounds of batting practice of the day with hard line drives while flashing gap to gap power, 88 mph exit velocity, showed better speed at previous event than the 4.69 home to first time he posted at this event.  Defensively, shows good lateral movement in both directions, soft hands, quick exchange, short arm action through high ¾ slot produced accurate throws, 76 mph across the infield.  On the mound, uses long arm action through a high-3/4 arm slot, good tempo in delivery, arm works with some quickness, throws fastball for strikes at 75-79 mph touching 80 (touched 82 at summer event), fastball shows some arm-side run, good command of 65-68 mph curveball with 12/6 action, shows some feel for 66-69 mph changeup that shows good sink and fade.

6/17/14 - 6-foot-2, 190-pound prospect with strong and athletic frame, good athleticism behind the plate, quick glove to hand transfer, room for quicker release, good arm strength at 77 mph from the crouch, pop times ranged from 2.02-2.13.  At the plate, hits from a balanced setup with a toe tap and minimal stride, good balance throughout, drops hands in load, strong frame creates bat speed through the zone, showed good barrel awareness in consistently squaring up the ball in batting practice, good speed with 4.37 time down the first base line, 84 mph tee exit velocity, went 1-for-4 in game play with a single.  On the mound Finerty shows good balance and tempo in delivery, uses long arm action through a high ¾ slot, arm works well with some looseness, fastball shows slight arm side run with occasional sink at 79-81 mph touching 82, curveball shows mostly 12/6 action with tight rotation and some depth at 67-71 mph, showed good command of the strike zone with both pitches, struck out 2 of the 5 hitters he faced.
