Hitting: Impressive round of BP. Easy swing with a short bat path. Crushed the ball to the pull side with some lift. Showed the ability to keep his hands inside and go the other way. Good barrel control.
Mechanics: Works at a moderate pace, waist high leg lift throwing with a short arm action.
Fastball: Straight feel on the fastball working the corners. Good command of the corners 74-77 mph.
Curve: Sweeping curve that showed a progressive break 64-67 mph.
6-foot-3, 190 pound solid built prospect with long legs and wide shoulders has a projectable frame. Young 2020 prospect lowers his right leg in the field, receiving the ball out front throwing with a little effort from a high 3/4 arm angle. At the plate has a tall stance with the bat wrapped. Uses a short stride and arm swing on a level path using a high one hand finish. On the mound has a simple motion he repeats each time revealing the ball early to throw from a high 3/4 arm angle. Fastball sat 71-72 mph with arm side run. Flashed a 1/7 curve 69-70 mph.
