Bell has a lanky 6-foot-2, 150-pound frame. He throws from an over-the-top arm slot and has a long arm action with a slight stab after he breaks his hands. He has a slow tempo with his delivery and shows good body control as he repeats his delivery. His fastball sat 71-72 mph with occasional sink. He threw his changeup with good arm speed and it sat 63-66 mph with late depth. His curveball sat 62-63 mph and had rolling 12/6 break to it. He showed consistency with his arm slot and with his arm speed on all of his pitches while finishing through his target.
