Cape Cod: Has hit 18 homers combined over the last two seasons at Michigan, and his compact 6-foot, 195-pound frame offers good strength. With a wide base, low hands and a rather deep squat stance, Flores shrinks the zone and shows good pitch recognition, and when he’s at his best he thrives at driving doubles to the oppo gap (he had 14 doubles as a sophomore and 19 as a junior). Flores’ righthanded hit tool will have to carry him, as he is an average athlete who profiles best in left field, though he did show some basestealing ability last summer in the Northwoods League.
6-foot, 191 pound strong athletic framed prospect sets up at the plate with a balanced stands holding his hands in an elevated position. Has a front leg lift, while showing fast hands at the plate. An aggressive swing approach using a long finish. Makes good hard contact. In the infield at 3B takes a stutter step approach working low though the ball throwing from an over the top angle.

Swing: Sets up with a small crouched stance keeping his body balanced. Sways back while lifting his front leg swinging with a hard, quick cut. Makes solid contact consistently driving the ball off the barrel using a long one hand finish. 92 mph exit velocity with wood. Ran a 6.87.
Fielding: Advanced approach in the field reading the hop taking a stutter step and throwing 84 mph with carry.

6-foot, 191 pound strong prospect showed versatility in the field moving around the diamond. Played corner infield as well as 2B during the event. At the plate showed raw power to the pull side. Swing looks free and easy. Drove in a few runs during the weekend while displaying soft hands in the field.
