Arnold has a strong 6-foot-2, 220-pound build. He throws from an over-the-top arm slot with a long arm action. He delivers with a slight head tilt and delivers with his momentum through his target. His fastball sat 76-80 mph with downhill action and occasional cut. His curveball had 1/7 break to it and sat 64-66 mph rolling depth to it. His slider showed good sweeping movement and sat 67-71 mph. His changeup sat 64-69 mph with some fade to it. He was able to repeat his delivery and locate his fastball to both sides of the plate.
