8/9/13 Carrasco shows good promise.  Liked him the best at 3B.  Offensive approach has improved.  Small school kind of player. Good actions coupled with soft hands.  Sure solid defender at 3B.  At the plate offensively has improved a lot over the past year.  Shoots the right-center gap well.  Balanced with fast bat.  Can also play behind the plate if necessary.  2.16-2.28 pop times.

7/2/13 Carrasco continues to improve as well.  Body has leaned up and gotten better. 6-foot-1, 205-pounds.  Not a great runner but serviceable (7.6).  Arm was solid across the diamond at 77mph.  Throws accurate and consistent.  Soft hands with smooth transfers.  Moved fine laterally.  Natural instincts.  Sit and spin hitter but with some pop.  Fast bat with uphill plane.  Should hit a smaller school.  Helped lead team to state finals appearance.

9/16/12  Carrasco is going into his junior year as a 6-foot, 195 pound infielder.  He displayed softer hands and made threw from multiple angles.  At the plate he had one of the best exit velocities recorded at 86 mph as he used his big frame to generate pop.

As a sophomore at Calvin Christian, Carrasco hit .350 and fielded .940.  He also plays for the Grand Rapids Diamonds program which typically play a tough schedule.
