Charvat has an athletic frame and stands 6-foot, 155-pounds. After striding, he has a wide base and gets uphill with his swing. His exit velocity was clocked at 77 mph. At catcher, Charvat displayed advanced feet and a quick release for his age with a velocity to second base of 70 mph and pop times that were 2.18-2.30-seconds. At shortstop, he funnels the ball into his belt and uses his feet to create good direction with his throws. His 60-yard dash was measured at 7.25.
