Sobol has a 5-foot-10, 155-pound build. On the mound, he throws from a low-3/4 arm slot and has a long, loose arm action with an effortless delivery. His fastball sat 81-83 mph and showed good arm side run. His curveball sat 69-70 mph and has 11/5 break to it while being thrown from a higher arm slot. His changeup showed good run like his fastball and sat 76-77 mph. He was able to keep his fastball down in the zone consistently.
