Extends his body towards the plate and throws from a 3/4 arm angle. Fastball sat 71-73 mph with arm side run. Curve has a gradual break on an 10/4 angle 66-73 mph. Sinking 63-65 mph change up.

Filinger stands at 5-foot-11. He throws from a high-3/4 arm slot and has a long arm action. He finishes his pitches in an athletic position and stays in line with the plate. His fastball sat 66-70 mph with some sink. His changeup was 64-65 mph with fade and thrown with good arm speed. His curveball sat 58-62 mph with 12/6 break.
