Tullis has a 5-foot-9, 165-pound frame. He throws from a 3/4 arm slot and had a short arm action with quick arm speed. His fastball sat 78-80 mph with sink. He showed the ability to locate his fastball at the bottom of the strike zone. His changeup was thrown with good arm speed and sat 69-71 mph with run. He located his changeup on the arm side of the plate well. His curveball sat 71-72 mph with tight 11/5 break and some depth. He showed the ability to repeat his delivery and had good body control.
