1/31/16 - Reed, 2019, Brentwood HS, right-handed pitcher with a small frame and athletic build at 5-foot-10 and 155 pounds. On the mound, Reed has a repeatable delivery with rhythm and good direction. The delivery provides for some deception with a strong glove side and easy arm action.  His high ¾ arm slot delivers fastballs at 74-76 mph with some cut action. The change up was commanded well at 66-70 mph with noticeable fade and depth. Curveball had gradual downward action at 64-67 mph.He ran a 7.71 60 and has an exit velo of 77 mph. He ran a 7.95 60 and had a 75 mph exit velo.  At the plate, athletic set up, early load to stride, stays inline, quick hands, short to contact, swing produces line drive to opp gap.  On the infield, 76 mph positional velo, over the top release, long arm circle, plays through the ball, quick feet, clean transfer, arm works, mostly accurate throws.
