Stands 5-foot-10, 170-pounds with stocky build. Delivery is balanced but quick. He uses a short, loose arm action throwing from a high-3/4 slot. Fastball sits 77-79 mph, throws a slider which had sharp, late action (best pitch) at 69-72. Hard worker who will only get better.
Yankowski stands 5-foot-10, 170-pounds with an average build. From the mound he starts with his hands set high. His tempo through his delivery is fast with a high knee lift. Stays tall on his back side driving towards home, arm action is down and back, shoulders stay even to target, throws from a high-3/4 slot. FB shows sink sitting 78-79 mph. Curveball has late 12/6 bite at 63, changeup has some downward action at 69. His landing is slightly closed, gets over his front side nicely, signs of more to come.
3B/Hitting - At the plate he starts hands high, slightly crouched over. Loads back with high knee lift, hands drop, short path to the all, barrel gets uphill, extension out in front, high finish.
