7/20/16 5-foot-11, 180-pound right-handed hitter showcased a 90 mph bat exit velocity from a narrow, square stance. Peters creates significant barrel whip from a high-hands load with a short stride and a solid lower half turn. Although he went hitless in six trips during game action, Peters barreled several balls including a flyout to center that traveled close to 400 feet. While he is still working on footwork, Peters displayed one of the stronger arms behind the plate in the state with 84 mph arm strength from the crouch.

2/14/16 5-foot-11, 180-pound right-handed hitter displayed some of the top across-the-board measurables on the day. Demonstrated advanced barrel whip (95 mph) from a square stance with a short stride and a direct swing path. Ran an event best 6.63 60-yard dash and flashed pop times of 2.05-2.25 with 81 mph arm strength out of the crouch. Receiving skills lag behind his present arm strength. Foot speed, arm strength and offensive abilities will allow Peters to potentially play a number of defensive positions at the next level.

7/22/15 5-foot-10, 190-pound right-handed hitter. Has ironed out swing path since the last time he attended an event, and is keeping the barrel through the zone much better. Started from square stance and strode slightly closed. Hands work in a swing that would better take advantage of strength and bat speed by incorporating lower half more consistently. Ran a 6.93 60-yard dash and in-game best 4.69 home-to-1B time. Showcased 89-mph exit velocity and 81-mph arm strength from the crouch during workout. Posted workout pop times of 2.00-2.13 with an in-game best 2.09. Gets feet lined up to target well, although every throw made during workout and game was made from in or behind the right-handed batter’s box, as his footwork constantly takes him to his left. Could shave time by simply keeping feet in line from plate to second base.
4/15/15 Showed some power potential and bat speed, hit around and hooked everything but barrelled up 2 doubles down the LF line.
2/15/15 Peters showcased plus bat speed (94 mph) and legitimate power potential from a square stance. The 5-foot-10, 190-pound sophomore used a strong lower half and quick hands to consistently square the baseball to all fields while creating above average backspin. The right-handed hitter clears his hips well and gets to full extension consistently. Peters showcased his athleticism running a 6.84 60-yard dash and flashed pop times of 2.13-2.25 on throws of 75 mph from the crouch.

11/1/14 Peters was impressive during his round of batting practice driving the baseball repeatedly to all fields from a square stance with a lift and replace stride. The right-handed hitter squared the baseball routinely to all fields and stays behind the baseball well with a bat exit velocity of 75 mph. The 5-foot-10, 190-pound sophomore registered pop times of 2.28-2.41 on throws of 75 mph from the crouch.
