From the OF he fields the ball off his glove-side, uses momentum with a small crow-hop, longer arm action, throws from a high-3/4 arm slot 65 mph arm strength.
Pitching - Donegan stands 5-foot-11, 160-pounds with a lean athletic frame. On the mound he uses a side step, tucks over the rubber, knee lift to his chest, hands rest on top of knee before breaking. Opens his hips up early, releases the ball from a high-3/4 slot, long stride, gets his back side through his pitches on finish.
