At the plate he hits from a balanced stance, smooth load, short stride, maintains excellent balance through contact. Swing is short with advanced extension that creates backspin and carry with line drive tendencies. Exit velocity was 92 mph off a tee.

2/18/13 - Strong build, strong lower half, wide shoulders, 5-foot-7, 178-pound middle infielder. Defensively shows athleticism, footwork is quick. Arm action is short and loose, shows carry, 77 mph across the diamond. Offensively shows strength. Hits from balanced setup, slightly longer stride, good balance throughout. Bat speed is present, 88 mph exit velocity from the tee, swing has pop, solid barrel whip through the zone. Also ran a 4.39 home to first.

1/20/13 - Short frame, physical body, 5-foot-7, 175-pound infielder. Loose arm action, 75 mph across diamond, athletic actions defensively, fluid footwork. Ran 7.46 60. Offensively, balanced setup, smooth load, moderate bat speed, strong lower half, gets good use out of lower half, some rotational tendencies, 80 mph exit velocity.
