The Top Prospect is held in the summer months when recruiting is at a frenzied pace, and are always held in open contact periods with the goal of providing a high-end event for class specific recruiting to college coaches. These events are historically well recruited across the country for one reason: the players. It provides a fresh look at prospects who fit the mold of playing at the next level, both in game play and showcase style events.

Top Prospect events are limited and built upon invitation only and generally geared towards a specific graduating class, helping college coaches who are looking to narrow their search. Rosters are comprised of the highest of ranked prospects in your prospective state, with invitations being issued from past event success, high school season accolades and more. Players can also request invitations through their individual state event page, by submitting highlights, statistics and more.

The Kansas City Top Prospect is geared towards all high level Class of 2025-2028 prospects and is set to take place on Tuesday, June 11 at Creekside Baseball Park.

The event is limited in the number of participants.  Pitchers will be evaluated/videoed during live game action. Rosters will be organized/built by specific positions to maximize playing time/exposure for each player. If you want to take advantage of this opportunity, please get your registration in as soon as possible, as roster spots are limited, both by total quantity and by position.

Body Composition

Players' body composition will be officially measured using state-of-the-art, medical-grade technology that will provide precise insights into height, weight, skeletal muscle mass, BMI and more. Players will step on scales using bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA), a method for measuring body composition, including muscle mass, body fat, and total body water.

Our scales will then produce several metrics giving insight into the prospect’s body composition. Height will be measured using a digital stadiometer to get precise height measurements.

Grip Strength

Hitters' grip strength will be tested using a digital hydraulic dynamometer. Grip strength is an essential component to bat strength and controlling the barrel. Hitters will be put through a max strength test on both hands, shedding light on hand strength and potential power and bat control down the road.
