Listed at 5-foot-10, 155 pounds, Ruud performed on both the mound and the infield. On the infield he had good actions with quick feet and a solid arm topping out at 73 mph. At the plate he continued to show his good hands with his swing path allowing him to drive the ball to the opposite field. On the mound he filled up the strike zone from a high 3/4 arm slot topping out at 76 mph with his fastball. He also threw a change-up and a curveball for strikes with good feel for both offerings.
