OF/RHP Daniel Thaxton (2019, OF/RHP, Lexington) 6’4 165 lbs.- Tall, slender 2019 that showed some nice stuff on the mound. The FB was up to 83 with some ASR. The breaking ball showed nice spin and shape in the low 70’s that showed late action. The change up was a plus pitch that can really create deception to the hitter due to the same arm speed. At the plate, the hands are set back in the stance and he shows an open stance with gap to gap power. The barrel stayed through the zone for a long time. Moved well in the OF and showed plus arm strength with nice accuracy on his throws to the plate.
