LHP/OF PJ Alig (Desert Vista, 2024)
6-foot 125 pounds. Room for added strength. (Running) 8.11 runner in the 60 yard. (Offense) LH. Max EV 76. Max DIst 209. Sets up slightly closed off to pitcher. Base is just outside of shoulder width with a slight bend in the knees. Bat held at shoulder height with a flat bat angle. Uses a toe tap stride, loads some weight onto back side and transfers weight forward. Gains some separation with hands. Swing is flat and direct. Slightly inconsistent with the barrel with a steeper bat path. Most of contact was to the opposite field. (Defense) OF velo 72. Loose are action, some 2 seam flight on the ball. Consistent to transfer and throws were through the cut off.
Pitching (LH)
Delivery: Delivers from the right side of the rubber. Clean delivery/good arm speed from a HTQ slot. High leg lift.
FB: 74 mph (2126). FB has some arm side run. Worked both sides of the plate. FB velo was better out of the windup.
CB: 62 mph (2318). CB showed a solid shape. Potential out pitch. Slurvey break. Can spin it a little bit. Command was spotty this day but pitch showed well.
