5-foot-11 165 pounds. Proportionate and athletic build with some strength. Good athlete with clean actions. Clean defender with offensive upside. Will follow development. (Running) 7.41 runner in the 60 yard. (Offense) LH. Max EV 94. Max Dist 328. Sets up strong in his legs with slime weight on the back side. Square to pitcher with wider base and slight bend in the knees. Hands held at the ear with a flat bat angle. Some rhythm with the hands and body pre pitch. Easy swing and consistent with the barrel. Small toe tap stride that finishes at his starting point, almost a no stride approach. High back elbow that dips into the slot, creates some loft with the path. Middle/oppo approach with line drive/fly ball contact. Gap-to-gap type hitter. (Defense) RH. IF velo 76. Throws from a lower slot with an easy arm. Ball has some 2 seam flight to 1B. Much more in the tank with the arm with a possible change in the arm slot and increasing the usage of body/legs. Glove work is very clean. Soft hands with some give into the body and a quick and consistent transfer. Moves laterally well. Glove is adjustable to hops. Ability to play all infield spots.
1/7/18 - 5-foot-7, 130-pound frame. Used no stride approach in the box. Shows some looseness in wrists, but tended to cut off swing. 77 mph exit velocity. Used short, choppy steps to move around the infield, posting 67 mph velo across the diamond. 7.89 60-yard dash. Sat 67-69 on the mound, topping at 72 with a short arm action and very short stride. Varied the break on 60-61 mph breaking ball, some showing bigger 11-5 shape and some shorter and more lateral. Left 61-62 mph change to the arm side at times.
