An aggressive swinger in the box, McFarlane keeps his bat in the zone a long time from a lower hand position and a slightly closed stance. He strides wide and swings upwards with intent. Caleb could benefit from tightening up his movement and staying more compact, but you can see real power potential with added size to his frame. Caleb has a good skillset base in the outfield but needs to add arm strength to add outfield assists to his power potential at the plate.
