Robinson is a big kid at 6-foot-1 220-pounds. He shows a sound approach at the plate with a quiet, high hand-set and good balance. He has the ability to drive the baseball, and showed why with an event best 92 mph exit velocity. He really handles pitches down in the zone, but will need to continue to get stronger to handle more velocity up in the zone. It is easy to see Robinson puts plenty of time in on his offensive game, and steps in the box with a plan. Defensively Robinson shows good hands around first-base. The bigger bodied Robinson has below average range but catches what he gets to. Robinson needs to get stronger, because of with his corner infield profile and skill set, he will need to be stronger than the average bear. He has the skill set at the plate and will benefit from being as physical as he can be.
