At 5-foot-9 165-pounds Parker can sneak up on you as a baseball player. The infielder has good actions on the infield dirt. His feet work well and ball enters the glove well. Would like to see him play through the baseball more aggressively, but have zero concerns about him doing that in the future. At the plate Shope is a true switch hitting prospect with good rhythm and feel for the bat-head on both sides of the plate. He has a line-drive approach and stays within himself well from both sides. Shope needs to continue to get stronger, but has good ingredients in actions to play at the next level. He will being versatility to a line-up both on offense and defense.
