Starts in an athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Has a simple upward swing plane, efficient bat speed and high finish. Solid while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 68 mph; had consistent footwork, sure hands, and a natural exchange. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Used a high ¾ slot and a loose arm action. On the mound, had a high ¾ arm angle and a compact arm action with consistent arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses easy effort. Showed slight running action. (Max spin 1884; Avg 1868). Threw a 11/5 curveball with early action. (Max spin 1996; Avg 1953). Shows tight action on his 10/4 slider. (Max spin 2067; Avg 1907).
