8/16/14 - 6-foot, 200-pound prospect with strong frame, quick arm works through mostly a high ¾ slot, uses strong lower half well, fastball shows occasional arm-side run at 83-85 mph, throws a sharp breaking ball at 72-73 mph with late break, tends to drop down to ¾ slot on 74-76 mph changeup that produces some arm-side run, allowed one hit and struck out two in his two innings of work.  As a position player, right-handed hitter with strong frame, crouched setup with front foot turned in, short stride, hands load back to shoulder level, has a gap to gap approach with some power to the pull side, 81 mph tee exit velocity, went 0-for-3 in game play with two strikeouts.  Showed soft hands and good feet around the first base bag, good arm strength at 81 mph across the infield. Posted a 5.03 home to first base time.
