Positional Profile: OF/RHP
Body: 5-foot-11, 155-pound lean and athletic build with room for added strength and size in the future.
Hit: RHH. At the plate starts with a slightly open stance and athletic posture. Preturns the back foot inward. Hands get set below shoulder height with a vertical bat angle. Short weight shift into the back side with a rotational lower body. Slight arm bar posture with a level bat path and line drive approach. Attacks the ball out in front of the plate and utilizes a pull side approach. Maintains balance throughout the swing. Hands work quickly through the zone with strong rotational acceleration metrics.
Power: 87 mph exit velocity off the tee and 90 mph exit velocity in BP.
Arm: RH. OF-84 MPH. High ¾ arm slot with a short arm action.
Defense: In the outfield attacks the ball with aggressive rhythm and footwork. Fields the ball on the inside of the glove side leg with a firm glove and developing glove action. Shuffle crow hop technique with strong momentum headed towards the target.
Run: 6.81 runner in the 60.
Delivery: On the mound uses a short rocker style footwork around the rubber. Quick pace and rhythm working up to a mid height balance point. Slightly rushed balance point with weight leaning forward at the top of the delivery. Gets slight push off the backfoot on the rubber into a soft plant leg. Works from the first base side of the rubber and strides directionally down the center of the mound with a shorter stride. Short glove tap hand break at the top of the balance point.
