Positional Profile:
Body: 6-2, 165-pounds. Long and lanky build with room for added strength and size in the future.
Hit: RHH. Starts with an open stance and slightly crouched posture with hands getting set just below shoulder height. Strong weight shift back into the lower half with upper body posture leaning back. Drops the hands slowly into the slot with a strong lead hand working linearly through the zone. Line drive approach with a level bat path. Leg kick stride with lower half working linearly through the zone into a firm front leg. Works the hands well to the inside part of the ball with good extension.
Power: 84.6 max exit velocity, averaged 76 mph. 240’ max distance.
Arm: RH. C - 74 mph. INF - 76 mph. 3/4 arm slot with a short and whippy arm action.
Defense: In the infield attacks the ball with jumpy footwork and a feel for routes working around the ball. Fields the ball with a feel for glove action and slightly stiff hands. Behind the plate receives the ball with a neutral set up and developing pitch framing skills. Methodical footwork out of the crouch on throws to second with exchange happening across the chest. Throws had developing carry and accuracy to the bag. Works quickly into the blocking position with leaned forward posture.
Run: 4.44 runner home to first.
Delivery: Works exclusively out of the stretch with a quick tempo working to a low balance point. Traditional side arm delivery with chest down at release. Works from the far first base side of the rubber and strides directionally down the center of the mound into a firm plant leg. Strong rotation of the core and back back foot swinging forward at release.
Arm Action: RH. Side arm arm slot with a loose and whippy arm action.
FB: T75.9, 74.2-75.9 mph. Heavy sink and arm side running action. T2026, 1943 average rpm.
