Physical Profile/Body - 5-10, 170lbs. Medium build. Proportional length, will add strength and mass as he continues to mature.
Hit - RHH with a stance at the shoulders. Starts slightly open before getting back to parallel at foot strike. Small hand load. Flatter path through the zone finishes uphill. Controlled tempo and good balance throughout the swing. Good bat to ball skills and quick hands.
Power - 87 mph exit velocity (tee). Consistent gap to gap line drives during his BP round.
Running/Speed - 7.04 sixty time (tee). 4.17 H/F.
Glove - Confident hands. Fields the ball out in front and funnels to a transfer at the belt. Showed the ability to control the body ranging up the middle and to the back hand. Stop and start rhythm in the fielding process. Quick feet.
Arm - 78 mph INF velocity. Showed ability to be accurate from multiple arm slots.
Summary- Quality INF profiles more up the middle now but could slide over to 3B as he matures. Showed off a quality hit tool with good bat to ball skills and consistent hard contact during his BP rounds. Frame will support additional strength as he continues to develop.
5-foot-10, 168-pound frame with rounded shoulders moderate projection remaining; SS/2B. At the plate, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 88 mph. Started in balanced open stance with a small load, then used a short stride just before his swing. Exhibited a level swing plane and quick bat speed, and he ended his swing with a high finish. Good carry to the pull side with line drive tendencies. While in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 76 mph; displayed sure hands, a clean exchange and rhythmic footwork. Showed a loose arm action and a high ¾ slot. During the event, he ran the 60-yard dash in 7.08.
