Moxon Montieth, Silverdale Baptist (TN), 2027 Positional Profile: SS/2B Body: 5-9, 130-pounds. Lanky frame on the slim side. Lacks present muscle but can add size. Will continue to get taller as he ages and could look to carry more mass. Delivery: Has some present sit on his backside and is able to finish out on his front side. Can be unbalanced at times and pull off the first base before fully finishing his throw with his head. Arm Action: RH. Over the top arm action that has some longness to it. FB: T74, 73-74 mph. FB has really good hop to it and carries plane well up in the zone. Will be able to get ahead of hitters early as he spins it pretty decently for the current velocity. T2154, 2075 average rpm. CB: 61-65 mph. CB has good shape, and was located in the zone well. CB will work great if it's mixed in consistently. Has good action to it and will keep hitters off the FB. T1872, 1789 average rpm. CH: 65-65 mph. CH showed flashes of good arm side movement. Could get a lot of swing and miss if he lets it run off the plate. T1872, 1839 average rpm. ATH: 8.22 runner in the 60. 1.83 and 4.44 in the 10 and 30 yard splits.

Hit: RHH. Slightly open stance with internally rotated hips for a closed toe starting point. Creates linear direction towards home with a black leg load. Can get disconnected at times and become arm swing dominate versus using entire lower half. Uppercut bat path with a long plane. Could look to be shorter to the zone, while staying long through it. 62.3 mph bat speed with 6 G’s of rotational acceleration. Power: 81 max exit velocity, averaged 67.0 mph. 233' max distance. Arm: RH. INF-75 mph. Arm can get long and take time to get going. Needs shuffle steps to get arm syched up. High 3/4 to over the top arm action and could look to get quicker with an hand to ear arm pattern. Defense: Moves well in the infield but can have choppy feet in the recieving portion. Lacks some bend with the lower half to sit behind a baseball and mostly relies on his glove instead of using his body with it. Leaves open room for the baseball to work through him if glove misses. Can work to both his glove side and forehand but lacks some fluidity to it. ATH: 8.22 runner in the 60. 1.83 and 4.44 in the 10 and 30 yard splits.
