Treyson Derry, GRACE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY (TN), 2027 Positional Profile: 1B/LHP Body: 5-7, 175-pounds. Smaller compact frame that is still growing, lots of room for continued development. Delivery: Controlled windeup with good tempo as the body comes through. Sinks into back hip well and gets good drive. Arm Action: LH. Works with a smooth 3/4 arm action, that creates a good slingshot action as it comes through. FB: T84, 80-84 mph. Easy velocity with still growing body, FB has good jump to it with good command. T1909, 1711 average rpm. SL: 64-71 mph. True slider action that tunnels very well with FB, with sharp downward action that should miss plenty of bats. T2159, 2001 average rpm. CH: 73-73 mph. Advanced feel for the pitch with ability to throw it for strikes or bury it for swings and misses. T1689, 1653 average rpm. ATH: 7.82 runner in the 60. 1.76 in the 10 yard split. 26.90 max vertical.

Treyson Derry, GRACE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY (TN), 2027 Positional Profile: 1B/LHP Body: 5-7, 175-pounds. Smaller compact frame that is still growing, lots of room for continued development. Hit: LHH. Begins shoulder width apart with the weight favoring the rear leg, toe tap before a stride further loads the rear leg and upper body. Creates good seperation at foot landing before rotating around the rear leg. On-plane batpath produces hard contact from gap to gap. Shows great feel for back leg for age with good exit velos and distance that will increase greatly as he develops. 68.3 mph bat speed with 10 G's of rotational acceleration. Power: 90 max exit velocity, averaged 82.7 mph. 319' max distance. Arm: LH. INF-80 mph. Accurate strong throws from a low 3/4 slot, more armstrength to come. Defense: Moves athletically creates angles with his body to balls. Shows good gloveside range off of first. Smooth to balls in OF with same athleticism. ATH: 7.82 runner in the 60. 1.76 in the 10 yard split. 26.90 max vertical.
