Hudson Rushing, University School of Jackson (TN), 2027 Positional Profile: OF/RHP Body: 6-2, 160-pounds. High waisted and lean, long arms and legs provide great levers with athletic movements. Hit: RHH. Wider than shoulder length stance with his hands held high, slight bat wiggle starts hands loading. A light shift onto backleg and a shift onto the toes of front foot leads to a simple forward stride into a lower finish. Attacks the inner half of the baseball with a middle of the field approach. Producing line drives and hard it balls off the L screen. A deep turn behind the body allows the athletic mover to stay through the zone well. He shows good zone precense and approach. Look for him to add bat speed ontop of his (66) and harder hit balls from the freshmen who topped 89mph. 66.7 mph bat speed with 12 G's of rotational acceleration. Power: 89 max exit velocity, averaged 70.0 mph. 275' max distance. Arm: RH. OF-81 mph. Great arm action with accurate throws that will develop into better velocity. Defense: pop times. Long strides break down to field ball well. Has quick transfer to accurate throws. ATH: 7.46 runner in the 60. 1.78 in the 10 yard split.
