8/1/19: Six-foot-2, 205 pound aggressive lefty with a quick arm. Has a strong lower half and blocks well with his lead leg. Clean delivery and arm action with fair extension out front from a three-quarter slot. Showed a fastball up to 94 mph down in the zone his first inning of work. Sat 90-92 with scattered command during his second inning on this look out of the bullpen against Harwich. Lacked control of a flat 81 mph slider which was eliminated quickly by the hitters. Relied mostly on his fastball, allowing one run on one hit and walking three. For Wu-Yelland the jump from Day Three to Day Two consideration in next year’s draft will be determined by his control and the improvement of his breaking ball. Both will be scrutinized next spring after walking 15 in 25.2 IP this summer following 32 walks in 46 IP last spring for the Rainbow Warriors. (Seifert)
