Joe Vascik pitched six innings of four-hit ball and Jimmy Burnette homered, singled and drove in two for St. Laurence. Johnny Peterson and Zach Verta added two hits apiece in the victory. Vascik struck out seven and walked three and Gage Olszak finished off the shutout.
No. 6 Mount Carmel 4, Loyola 0
Diego Munoz pitched a three-hitter for the Caravan. Alek Thomas went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBI and Munoz tripled and singled in three at-bats.
No. 8 Edwardsville 15, Collinsville 4
Jack Cooper hit two homers and drove in four runs for Edwardsville. Drake Westcott also went deep and Dylan Burris went 3-for-3 in the victory.
