Justin Rios pitched six innings of three-hit ball to earn the win. Zach Verta’s two-run double in the first inning gave the Vikings the lead for good. Johnny Peterson added an RBI single in the second for St. Laurence.
No. 4 St. Rita 10, Providence 2
Justin Ruthrauff pitched six solid innings and Tyler Woyernowski went 3-for-4 with two RBI for St. Rita. Matt Verdun added two hits and drove home three runs in the victory.
No. 6 O’Fallon 4, Alton 0
Hayden Juenger pitched a three-hitter with six strikeouts and two walks in the victory. Josh Gibson had an RBI double for O’Fallon.
