The Buckeye State is filled with high-level baseball prospects throughout each corner of the state. Kenny Misik LHP / 1B / Austintown Fitch, OH / 2019

AUSTINTOWN - On the basketball court Kenny Misik calls himself a “bruiser.”

That type of mentality has also worked out well on the mound for the Austintown Fitch junior, who recently committed to play college baseball at Youngstown State.

“They like the heart and grit I have ... the idea that I won’t back down from anybody,” Misik said about what impressed Youngstown State about the left-handed pitcher. “I was brought up like that. Nothing was ever given to me.”
